The reasoning is very simple. The internet is a big place, filled with lots of people. Some of these people make mistakes. Sometimes, the mistakes are small and factual in nature; other times, the mistakes are no worse than extremely poor grammar; and other times, the lack of logic and rational thought is more glaring than the middle of the ocean on a sunny day.
I'm not here as a lone beacon against the tides of foolishness. That would be vain and pretentious, and I'm quite vain and pretentious enough as it is, thank you. I consider myself more an online Touchstone, making casual mock of easy targets. I am here for my own amusement. You guys are a bonus.
One closing note: this would be what I aspire to, but I'm not that studious.
